Heroic Woman Empowers Veterans: The Journey of Stacey Buckner

Stacey Buckner, though never a soldier herself, has become a beacon of hope and support for military veterans in her community in North Carolina. Inspired by her familial military ties and high community patriotism, she founded Off Road Outreach in 2015, a nonprofit aimed at helping homeless veterans. The project started modestly by providing basic amenities like showers and has significantly grown to include essential services such as food, temporary housing, and employment support. Stacey travels around in her specially designed Jeep, reaching out to veterans in need, collaborating with community partners to streamline and enhance the support systems.
